Types of Cookies We Use
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the website to operate and cannot be switched off. This includes cookies and local storage used by Google Firebase Authentication to keep you signed in, and to remember the cookie choice you make below. We also use Sentry, an error-monitoring tool, to detect and fix bugs. Sentry loads on every visit, before you make a cookie choice — we have turned off its default capture of identifying information (such as your user ID) and HTTP request data, so only the error report itself is sent. We treat it as strictly necessary to keep the Services running reliably and secure, so it is not gated by the live chat toggle below.
Live chat cookies — we use Tawk.to to provide live chat support on our public pages (never on a page you have to sign in to see). This only loads if you accept live chat cookies below, or have previously done so.
Marketing cookies — if you accept this category, we load advertising from the following third-party networks on our public blog pages only (never on a page you have to sign in to see):
- Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — serves advertising, personalises it based on your activity, and measures ad performance and fraud prevention.
